Happy 100th Birthday Maisie!

Our wonderful client Maisie Dalziel has just celebrated her 100th birthday surrounded by family, friends, and fellow residents at Fleming Court Care Home in Jesmond! Of course, she also received a special birthday card from the King and Queen to mark the occasion.

Maisie was a long-time user of our laundry run service and a regular at our lunch club when she lived in Battlefield. During the pandemic, Julian—one of our amazing volunteer Befrienders—began doing her shopping. Even after Maisie moved into care, Julian continued to visit Maisie and their friendship has remained strong.

Many happy returns on this remarkable milestone, Maisie!
